The Contrec 114D Batch Controller gives simple, reliable dispensing control for any pulse or frequency-output flowmeter, whether it’s a turbine, positive displacement, or paddlewheel type. The operator sets a target batch quantity from the front-panel keyboard, and the 114D drives one or two solid-state relay outputs to open and close solenoid valves automatically, closing them down as the preset target is reached so each batch stops at the right volume without an operator standing over it.
A two-stage control option lets a fast-fill valve open first and a slow-fill valve take over as the batch nears completion, improving cut-off accuracy on flows where a hard stop from full speed would overshoot the target. Every parameter that matters for a given application, including the meter’s K-factor, decimal placement, valve delay timing, and signal timeout, is fully programmable from the keypad, so the same unit adapts to a wide range of meters and batch sizes without factory reprogramming. Battery backup keeps programmed settings and totals safe through a power interruption, and the weatherproof housing lets it be mounted right at the point of use, whether that’s wall, panel, or pipe mounted.
