The Contrec 120A.1 is the panel-mount version of the 120A Level Monitor, fitted with mounting brackets for installation into a control panel face rather than out in the field. It turns a standard 4-20mA analog level sensor into a clear, at-a-glance display of tank level and contents: a 20-segment LCD bar graph shows level as a proportion of the full span, while a separate 7-digit numeric display reads out contents in whatever engineering unit the installer chooses. Because it draws its power entirely from the 4-20mA loop it monitors, no separate power wiring is needed on the panel.
For tanks that aren’t a simple straight-sided shape, a 25-point non-linear correction table lets the 120A.1 translate a raw sensor signal into an accurate volume reading even where level and contents don’t scale together evenly. Four programmable level alarms with open-collector outputs can drive external relays or indicators for high, low, or intermediate level conditions, and all configuration is retained in non-volatile memory. This panel-mount format keeps the level display grouped together with other panel instrumentation for centralized monitoring.
