We had an enquiry from a customer who needed a panel display for tacho or linear speed measurement – reading a frequency signal and displaying RPM or line speed with relay alarms. The ADtek ST-RL covers this, plugging into the same 11-pin socket as the rest of ADtek’s ST series.
This looks simple, but “frequency conditioner” still needs some checking. The ST-RL auto-ranges 0.01Hz to 100KHz (optional to 140KHz), and it accepts contact, NPN, PNP, voltage pulse, or sine wave (30~600Vp) input – so we would need to know your sensor’s output type before quoting. The decimal point moves automatically based on your input frequency, and accuracy is ±0.005%.
In actual application, the ST-RL gives you 1 analogue output, 1 RS-485 port, 3 relay outputs, and an excitation supply output, with cross-selection allowing up to 3 of these active at once. It’s user-programmable from the front panel. CE approved.
From our experience, before we quote this, we would normally check your sensor’s output type (contact, NPN, PNP, voltage pulse, or sine wave), the frequency range you’re measuring, and which combination of outputs (analogue, RS-485, relay, excitation supply) you need active. Hope this helps.
