The Setra Model 217 Pressure Transmitter is specifically designed for pressure measurement applications in harsh environments, particularly in modular “Block” gas bars and panels. It excels in challenging conditions characterized by temperature transients caused by cold airflow.
Featuring a downwardly mounted pressure port with a Type C or W seal and a small sensor chamber that is easy to purge, the Model 217 offers excellent adaptability. All wetted parts are constructed with VIM/VAR 316L stainless steel and surface passivated to 5 Ra (up to 7 Ra), ensuring a smooth surface and chemical resistance for contamination-free gas delivery. Each sensor undergoes a stringent helium leak test at a level of 1 x 10-9 ATM.CC/sec using a mass spectrometer.
Built on Setra’s proven capacitive sensing technology, all ultra-high-purity products from Setra, including the Model 217, provide highly accurate and stable voltage or current output signals that are virtually immune to EMI/RFI interference.
