MTT MS3901 Thermocouple Signal Conditioner (Chassis Mount, Isolated)

The MTT MS3901 Thermocouple Signal Conditioner is a compact, chassis-mounting transmitter that converts a thermocouple’s millivolt-level signal into a standard isolated DC output, with cold junction compensation, built-in linearization, and selectable burnout protection handled on board. Unlike MTT’s slim plug-in DIN rail modules, the MS3901 is designed to mount directly onto its RC3900 mounting base for high-density installations where many channels need to be packed into a compact chassis.

The transmitter accepts the full range of JIS-standard thermocouple types and can be specified for the exact temperature span the application requires, with a built-in six-segment linearizer correcting for the sensor’s non-linear characteristic. Two independently configurable outputs are available in various current and voltage combinations, front-accessible trimmers allow zero and span adjustment, and dual-output isolation keeps each channel electrically independent. Anti-humidity PCB coating and self-popup wiring screws on the chassis base make the MS3901 straightforward to install and maintain in dense panel layouts.
