The MTT MS3782 Slim Plug-In PWM Converter takes a DC current or voltage input and converts it into a pulse-width-modulated output signal whose duty cycle tracks the input level, giving panel builders a way to drive equipment that expects a PWM control signal from a standard analog process reading. This makes it a useful bridge between analog instrumentation, such as a 4-20mA transmitter, and devices like variable-speed drives, dimmers, or actuators that are controlled by duty cycle rather than a straight analog level.
The output can be configured as a TTL-level, open-collector, or voltage pulse signal, and both the switching frequency and the duty-cycle range are adjustable to match the receiving equipment.
