The MTT MS3770 Slim Plug-In Split-Range Transmitter takes a single DC current or voltage input and divides it into two separate, isolated output signals, each covering a defined portion of the input range. This is the standard building block for split-range control strategies, such as driving a heating valve over the lower half of a controller’s output and a cooling valve over the upper half, letting one control loop coordinate two final control elements without additional PLC logic.
Each output’s split point is independently adjustable, and the module can be configured for either a V-shaped or parallel output characteristic depending on how the two actuators need to hand off from one another. Front-accessible trimmers provide zero adjustment for fine calibration, and four-way galvanic isolation between input, both outputs, and power keeps each split-range signal clean and protected from noise and ground loops as it is distributed to its respective actuator.
