FineTek SCX2 Tuning Fork Level Switch

FineTek SCX2 Tuning Fork Level Switch

Most tuning fork switches are built for one or the other — the FineTek SCX2 tuning fork level switch handles both solid and liquid media in the same design, using a piezoelectric-driven vibrating fork and solid-state electronics for maximum and minimum level detection in tanks and tubes.

How It Works

The electronics excite the tuning fork element to vibrate at a set frequency and continuously monitor the electronic feedback. When the probe contacts the target material, that vibration is damped, the feedback shifts, and the output switches state to signal material presence. Once the fork is clear of material again, vibration resumes and the output reverts.

Key Features
