FineTek JFR FMCW Radar Level Transmitter
The FineTek JFR Series brings non-contact radar accuracy to tanks, bins, and silos holding both liquids and bulk solids. Because the antenna never touches the material, it keeps performing reliably in demanding, high-accuracy applications where contact sensors would foul or wear.
How It Works
Running at either 10GHz or 26GHz, the transmitter sends an FMCW (frequency modulated continuous wave) signal from its antenna down toward the material surface. A portion of that signal reflects back after a short delay, and the frequency difference between the outgoing and returning signals maps directly to distance. The electronics process that difference into a highly linear, accurate level reading.
