The Setra ASM is the most accurate transducer in Setra’s AccuSense line, built for gauge, absolute, compound, and vacuum pressure measurement where standard accuracy isn’t good enough. It’s calibrated using the endpoint method rather than best-fit-straight-line, which gives it ±0.05% FS accuracy and better linearity than similarly priced transducers calibrated the usual way.
In actual application, the ASM uses Setra’s SecureCal calibration key, so only an authorized person with the key can adjust the calibration factor, which stops accidental or unauthorized recalibration in the field. It also handles overpressure well, up to 10 times the rated range, and it’s available in both unidirectional and bidirectional models with a wide range of pressure and electrical interface options.
From our experience, this is the right call for engine test benches, particle testing and analysis, intake pipe pressure measurement, refrigeration testing, and other high-precision industrial work where drift and calibration integrity matter as much as the accuracy spec itself. Stability is rated at better than 0.15% FS per year, with low temperature drift.
