Bulb Specifications
The temperature switches are compatible with 3/8 inch nominal bore thermowells, featuring bulbs with a sensitive portion length of 2 inches. These bulbs can be utilized with thermowells that have a 2.5 inch “U” dimension or longer.
To ensure maximum accuracy when measuring liquid temperatures, the thermowell’s “U” dimension should allow for complete immersion of the sensitive portion plus an additional 1 inch. For gas temperature measurements, an extra 3 inches of immersion is recommended.
