The 515 PP01 is a reliable flow measurement device designed to accurately measure the flow of pressurized petroleum fluids, following the ASTM D1250-04 standard. It features frequency flow inputs that can accept a quadrature signal, ensuring ISO 6551 level B pulse security. Additionally, it includes inputs for analog pressure, temperature, and density, which allow for precise volume correction to standard reference conditions.
This advanced flow measurement instrument is compatible with various flowmeter frequency outputs, such as millivolt signals, reed switches, Namur proximity switches, and pulse trains. Users can easily select the desired settings through its intuitive front-panel program.
The flow computer provides clear displays of both net and gross flow rates, along with resettable and accumulated totals. It is suitable for measuring a wide range of petroleum fluids, including gasoline, jet fuels, heating oils, diesel fuels, and lubricating oils.
CALCULATIONS
The total volume and flow rate are calculated based on accurately measured frequency and the number of pulses received.
Volume = pulses / k-factor
Volume flow = frequency / k-factor
