Contrec 250i Loop Powered ATEX Process Indicator

The Contrec 250 is a highly accurate, Intrinsically Safe Process Indicator designed to work seamlessly with digital output transducers. This makes the 250i ideal for tough environments, thanks to its IP67 weatherproof casing, a user-friendly tactile keyboard, and multiple mounting options.

The Contrec 250 Programmable Process Indicator accepts a 4-20mA signal from a variety of transducers, including pressure and temperature transmitters, weigh scales, pH sensors, flowmeters, and level transmitters. It features solid-state relay outputs that can provide up to four level alarms and a 25-point non-linearity correction table, allowing the process indicator to be configured for non-linear signals. The power for this process indicator is sourced entirely from the 4-20mA current loop, eliminating the need for external power or batteries. It is fully programmable, with setup parameters such as span, offset, and alarm levels stored in non-volatile memory, ensuring data retention for over ten years without power.

The Contrec 250 is housed in a durable IP67 (NEMA 4X) polycarbonate enclosure, making it completely watertight. It comes with a standard wall mounting bracket, and there are options available for panel mounting and 2″ pipe mounting. The LCD Signal Bar display on the Contrec 250 Process Indicator shows the signal as a percentage (0 – 100%), along with a 7-digit numeric display for the process variable. The indicator visually represents the signal level on the bar graph while displaying the scaled process variable on the large numeric display. The operating temperature range for this process indicator is -20°C to +60°C or -4°F to +140°F.
