Contrec 220i Level and Contents Display

The Contrec 220i ATEX level monitor is a safe and reliable device for measuring levels and displaying tank contents. It meets the strict European ATEX/IECEx standards and CSA US/C standards for safety in the US and Canada. This level monitor works with a 4-20mA signal from various level sensors, including pressure transmitters, ultrasonic sensors, and capacitance probes.

Featuring a large LCD display, the Contrec level monitor shows both the level and contents of tanks with up to 7 digits and 12mm high text. It provides a 42-digit resolution for contents, including trailing zeros. The device is equipped with 4 open collector outputs that can drive DC solenoids or external relays. These outputs can trigger high, high-high, low, and low-low flow alarms, allowing for effective monitoring of tank levels. Additionally, the solid-state relay outputs can manage up to four level alarms and include a 25-point non-linearity correction table, making it adaptable for most tank configurations.

The Contrec 220i is powered through a 4-20mA current loop, eliminating the need for external power sources or batteries. It is fully programmable, allowing users to set parameters such as span, offset, and alarm levels. The level monitor features non-volatile memory that retains all settings and data for over 10 years without power. Its durable polycarbonate housing is rated IP67 (NEMA 4X), ensuring it is completely watertight. The level monitor comes with standard wall mounting options, and alternative mounting options include 2″ pipe mounting and panel mounting.
