Ashcroft L-Series Pressure and Differential Pressure Switches
The Ashcroft L-Series offers a range of pressure, differential pressure, and vacuum switches designed for reliability and precision. These switches utilize two distinct actuators based on the required setpoint specifications.
Actuator Options
- Diaphragm Sealed Piston Actuator: Suitable for setpoints ranging from 2 to 3000 psi, this actuator is known for its rugged design and high reliability. It offers a selection of actuator seal materials to accommodate nearly any application.
- Welded Design: Available for setpoints up to 1000 psi, this option enhances reliability and is offered in materials such as 316 SS or Monel.
Differential Pressure Models
The differential pressure variants feature a unique dual-diaphragm sealed piston design, allowing for high static operating pressures while maintaining a compact size.
High Sensitivity Designs
For setpoints between 4.5 and 150 inches of H2O, a large diaphragm is employed to enhance sensitivity in both pressure and differential pressure applications. All standard models provide:
- ±1% of range setpoint repeatability
- A minimum of 400% of range proof pressures
These designs are particularly effective in environments where shock and vibration may pose challenges. They can also be paired with Ashcroft diaphragm seals for use in extreme conditions, such as slurries or abrasive process fluids.
