The Ashcroft 2265 Electric Warning Contact enhances the functionality of select gauges and thermometers by providing direct control and monitoring capabilities for process systems. This device can activate a signal light, trigger an alarm, or control a pump or valve based on specific pressure or temperature thresholds.
The contacts are adjustable, allowing users to set them to open or close a circuit at predetermined pressure or temperature levels. To prevent chatter caused by vibrations, the contacts are equipped with adjustable magnets. Adjustments can be made externally using a removable key, ensuring that the instrument remains tamper-proof. Additionally, modifications to the contact settings can be performed in the field without the need to remove the instrument from service. A standard feature includes a plug-in connector with five feet of electrical cable.
The Ashcroft 2265 is designed for straightforward installation on various models, including Types 1279, 1377, and 1379 Duragauge pressure gauges (available in both stem and flush mount options), Type 1125 differential pressure gauges, and Type 600A Duratemp dial thermometers.
