The 31CS series of sputtered film products are small and cost-effective, meeting the high-profile requirements for long-term performance, reliability, and stability of intrinsically safe pressure sensors in a wide range of applications, from 75 PSI to 32,000 PSI. Provides excellent precision, 31CS ± 0.25% FS accuracy,. It features a rugged, all-welded stainless steel housing with IP67 protection against moisture and moisture. A variety of output, pressure connectors, and electrical connector options are available to meet the most demanding applications. In addition, the voltage output version provides a dual channel pressure/temperature output.

Cost-effective
Built-in strain gage technology provides linearity and predictable output signals over a wide temperature range, enabling Setra to produce essentially stable, accurate sensor components at low cost and in large quantities. The Model 31CS/32CS is manufactured in Class 100 cleanroom using a high-precision automated process. In order to ensure high precision and long-term stability, each sensor element is temperature compensated before leaving the clean room for final assembly, with an accuracy better than 0.005% °C. Temperature compensation helps improve accuracy, simplifies conditioning of the electronics, and eliminates the need for calibration of the sensor under temperature rise conditions.

Stable performance
The Model 32CS is a heavy-duty pressure sensor based on long-term stability, reliability, and accuracy. The compact welded stainless steel design is designed to protect the sensor from working in harsh industrial environments. The 32CS product has over 3 times rated pressure (0-10K PSI) and 2.5 times overrated voltage (10K – 14.5KPSI), ensuring that the sensor is not damaged even in the event of a sudden pressure shock. The electrical connectors are IP67 rated and the reliable internal design also works well under high vibrations.
