| Type | Diaphragm (pulse jet) valve for pneumatic dust collector systems |
| Working Principle | Valve body has 2 air chambers separated by a diaphragm, connected via a small air passage. When the pilot orifice opens, the upper chamber exhausts faster than air can refill it; the pressure drop lets the lower chamber’s higher pressure push the diaphragm up, releasing a sudden burst of air that inflates the fabric filter bag to shake off clinging dust. When the orifice closes, pressure equalizes and a coil spring returns the diaphragm to its closed position. |
