The FineTek FG Series magnetic float level transmitter turns simple buoyancy and magnetism into a continuous, dependable level signal — a sturdy, cost-effective alternative to more complex non-contact technologies for straightforward tank level measurement.

How It Works

A float, sized to match the density of the measured fluid, rides up and down a sensing guide rod as the liquid level changes. Inside that rod sits a chain of reed switches spanning the full measuring length; as the float passes each one, it triggers a change in output. The spacing between switches sets the measuring resolution, and the transmitter converts the float’s position into a proportional signal.

● GENERAL DESCRIPTION
TypeMagnetic Float Level Transmitter (resistance output and/or 4~20mA transmitter output)
Working PrincipleComposed of a float and sensing rod. As the float is raised or lowered by the liquid level, the sensing rod (reed switch module + resistor ladder network) induces a resistance output directly proportional to the liquid level. An optional transducer (TAB-2110/TAB-2100) converts this to a 0/4~20mA current loop signal.
