Contrec 515 Heat Calculator (HC12)

The Contrec 515 HC12 is a reliable solution for measuring the volume, mass, and energy content of fluids in heating and cooling systems. It uses an analogue mass flow input along with analogue temperature inputs for both supply and return, ensuring accurate flow measurement.

This versatile device supports various fluid types and modes, making it ideal for numerous heating and cooling applications. You can choose the flowmeter input signal from options like 0-5V, 1-5V, or 4-20mA. It allows you to program minimum and maximum points, and you can apply non-linear correction points to enhance the accuracy of the flowmeter’s performance.

When measuring water, the instrument calculates mass flow and energy based on the IAPWS Industrial Formulation (1997). For other industrial fluids, it utilizes internal tables for enthalpy and density to ensure precise measurements.
