The Contrec 515 GC04 measures the volume, corrected volume, and mass of gases using a single or stacked differential pressure meter, orifice plate, nozzle, venturi tube, or V-Cone, along with temperature and pressure inputs.
It calculates flow using DP equations compliant with ISO 5167 or V-Cone specifications, and takes the flowmeter’s own calibration conditions and thermal expansion into account, so the reading stays accurate as line conditions change.
For gas properties, it lets you pick the equation of state that fits your gas, Ideal Gas, Redlich-Kwong, Soave-Redlich-Kwong, or Peng-Robinson, and uses this to work out compressibility and actual gas quantity for the vapour phase. Picking the right one matters, since a simple Ideal Gas assumption can be inaccurate for gases at higher pressure.
