The Contrec Model 515 (Application FP03) is a high-accuracy, industrial-grade petroleum flow computer explicitly optimized for custody transfer and fiscal measurement loops using quadrature flowmeters. This sophisticated processing instrument accepts dual-channel quadrature frequency inputs to deliver absolute signal verification and prevent pulse miscounts in accordance with ISO 6551 Level B pulse security. To compute precise net volume, gross volume, and mass flowrates, the calculation engine dynamically processes live analog temperature and density inputs to correct volume to reference conditions. Volume correction is processed in absolute compliance with global ASTM D1250-04 and ASTM-IP-API Table 54 standards, covering a broad matrix of crude oils, lube oils, refined products, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as well as general and user-defined custom fluids. Encased in a ruggedized, weather-tight enclosure with a backlit display and a tactile keypad, it ensures reliable field operation under extreme plant conditions. Outfitted with 4-20mA loop retransmission, an adjustable 8-24V DC sensor excitation supply, and dual RS-232/RS-485 Modbus RTU serial architecture, the Contrec 515 FP03 delivers heavy-duty data integrity for automated terminal and pipeline networks.
Key Product Features
- ASTM D1250-04 & Table 54 Correction: Dynamically compensates for temperature, pressure, and fluid density to compute high-accuracy petroleum metrics under reference conditions.
- ISO 6551 Level B Pulse Security: Integrates dual-channel quadrature frequency input processing to validate raw pulse counts and neutralize data tampering.
- Onboard Transducer Power Supply: Reduces field wiring loops by offering a front-panel adjustable 8-24V DC excitation output providing up to 50mA to power local sensors.
- Custom Multi-Fluid Profiling: Built-in flexibility allows for specialized volume correction configuration over general and user-defined custom fluid curves.
- Robust Audit Trail Logging: Onboard non-volatile flash memory and an integrated Real Time Clock (RTC) data logger capture over 1,000 entries of totals, averages, and system alarms.
