The Contrec 515 BR03 is a batch and ratio controller designed for delivering specific quantities at set ratios using mass frequency inputs. It can operate in either preset or on-off modes for batch control, while flow control can be configured for local (manual) operation or PI loop mode.
This system provides operators with a clear local display that shows flow rate deviations. It can also be integrated into more automated systems for remote control via communications. Authorized users can quickly access frequently used preset values directly from the front panel.
The PI control of the process flow is managed through a 4-20mA proportional valve. The system includes integral wind-up protection, a deadband, output hold, and programmable ramp times. These features help reduce wear on valves and actuators, ensuring smooth and bumpless operation.
